motifs are spiders, grass, flowers and bugs

william basinski is a musician, composer, auteur
expanding the boundaries of the aural landscape.
He began developing his own vocabulary using tape loops
and old reel to reel tape decks. He developed his
meditative, melancholy style experimenting with short
looped melodies played against themselves creating
feedback loops.

Francesca sent me pics of the exhibition “HOTEL WONDER”
It is a special exhibition held by La Perla in the Salone del Mobile last month.
For this project, 42 illustrators were given the theme of an imaginary hotel
suspended between dream and reality. I drew the Library.
I wasn’t there to see all their works, but [...]

The Big Issue is sold by homeless and
vulnerably housed individuals on the streets
all over the world.
This week’s Japanese issue features Kanye West
and …Miki Amano! (boo hoo!)
